Description of Idem Quod

This performance started at a residency in Kronstadt from National Centre of Contemporary Art in Russia and it was developed for the event “Sweet Dew” part of Gwangju Biennale. The performance was made thinking about civil wars, giving to the work a dramatic accent highlighted by Butoh dance and piano playing with plastic soldiers on the piano keys.

The performance was adapted and inspired to the Gwangju uprising happened in 1980, but it touches the core cycle of destruction and transformation.
